What happens if I am unable to attend on the day I booked tickets for?

The Tulip Time Flower Festival is an outdoor all-weather event.

Tulip Time tickets are non-amendable and non-refundable under any circumstance.

Please make sure you consider the dates prior to booking your tickets.

Can I bring my pets to Tulip Time Flower Festival?

We love all animals, but during Tulip Time we must remind visitors that, unless your animal is a Guide Dog or an Accredited Assistance Dog, we cannot allow them into Corbett Gardens.Please respect this requirement and leave your furry or feathered friends at home when you visit Tulip Time.This year, however, we’re excited to offer a special one‑day event just for dogs — Dogs Day Out on Monday 21 September. As tulips can be toxic to dogs if eaten, dogs must stay on leash and out of garden beds throughout the event, with signage on-site as a reminder. You can find out more under the EVENTS tab.

Is there an ATM on site?

There is no ATM available on site. The nearest ATMs are a short walk to the main street of Bowral, you will find the following: NAB (256 Bong Bong Street, Bowral) and CommBank (344 Bong Bong Street, Bowral). This event has a cashless entry. Market stalls may offer cash and EFTPOS sales at their discretion.

Where can I park?

There is no designated parking for the event. Visitors are encouraged to consider the following public parking options including: Eastern end of Merrigang Street, large carpark on Merrigang Street opposite Corbett Gardens, Coles carpark off Wingecarribee Street and the large parking bays on Station Street.

Is there accessible parking?

Yes. Dedicated disabled parking spaces are available on Merrigang Street and Bendooley Street, both close to our main entry points, with kerb ramps installed.

Are Corbett Gardens accessible?

Accepted Answer

Corbett Gardens are wheelchair, mobility scooter, and stroller accessible. The gardens are level with interconnecting paved paths. Accessible parking is available on Wingecarribee Street and Merrigang Street. There are accessible amenities on site and an accessible point of entry.

Can I hire or borrow a wheelchair at the event?

Unfortunately, wheelchairs are not available to hire or borrow on-site. We recommend bringing your own if required.

Can I get to Tulip Time via public transport?

The train from Sydney Central Station to Bowral Station is 1.5 – 2hrs. The train from Canberra Kingston Station to Bowral is 3 – 3.5hrs. Please refer to Transport NSW for more details.

Do I need a ticket?

Yes, you can pre-purchase tickets online before you arrive or buy tickets at the gate.

Please note we only accept card at the gate.

Do not wish to be photographed?

Accepted Answer

Your attendance at this event grants your permission to be in photos or videos, which may be used in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please look out for our event photographers wearing yellow high vis and let them know.

You can also inform an event organiser who can provide you with a wrist band, so you are easily identifiable by photographers.

Can I smoke or vape at the event?

Tulip Time is a vape and smoke-free event. If you wish to smoke or vape, you will need to exit the event to do so.

Event staff and volunteers will be able to assist with lost and found items. If you lose an item, you can come find us on the day in pink high vis or email tuliptime@wsc.nsw.gov.au

Lost children should be reported to Police or inform Event Staff who will then notify Police if necessary.

Will all flowers be in bloom?

Accepted Answer

Tulip Time is a seasonal floral display. Bloom quality and timing vary throughout the festival and are influenced by weather conditions, seasonal factors, and the natural growth cycle of the tulips. As a result, peak flowering cannot be guaranteed on any specific date.

Who is eligible for the concession price?

Accepted Answer

Concession pricing is available to Seniors Card holders, Disability card holders and Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) card holders. Please bring your card with you, as you may be asked to show it on entry.

Can I exchange my general admission ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes. General admission tickets can be exchanged for any other festival date, subject to availability and before the festival closes on 5 October. No exchanges or refunds are available after the festival closes.

What if I'm unwell and can't attend?

If you're unwell, please contact us. Refunds are at our discretion, and where possible we may offer an exchange to another date first.

We can't offer refunds, but you can exchange your booking. General admission tickets can be exchanged for another date, subject to availability, until the festival closes on 5 October.

Will I get a refund if it rains?

No. Tulip Time is an all-weather event. You can exchange your ticket for another date, subject to availability, if you request it before your ticketed date. Refunds only apply if the event is cancelled by the event organisers.

How busy will the festival be?

Regarding crowd numbers, tickets are capped, and numbers inside the gardens are monitored, and entry may be paused at busy times. If you'd prefer a quieter visit, weekdays are generally less busy than weekends.
